What’s holding users back today?

When was the last time we truly understood what we were consuming?

Supplements are everywhere, on shelves, online, and across social media. Yet most users have little clarity about ingredients, quality, or what their body actually needs. Catchy claims and influencer-led narratives often replace evidence, leaving users confused and misinformed.

When was the last time we felt confident choosing a supplement without second-guessing?

Between conflicting advice, overwhelming product options, and unclear dosage guidance, decision fatigue takes over. Many end up buying based on trends, not science. And for goal-driven users like athletes and health-conscious zillennials, this lack of personalization leads to wasted money, inconsistent habits, and unmet results.

Why is it important?

Why do these numbers matter?

Confusion is replacing confidence; leaving users unsure, overwhelmed, and dependent on trends instead of trustworthy guidance.

Digging deeper into the problem space

Confusion & Mistrust

Many users struggle to understand which supplements align with their body, lifestyle, and performance goals. With conflicting online advice, influencer endorsements, and unclear ingredient labels, decision-making becomes overwhelming. As a result, trust is shaped more by branding and hype than evidence or personalization.

Convenience Gaps

Existing purchase channels, whether retail shelves or e-commerce, aren’t built for adaptive or on-demand access. Users often buy in bulk without knowing whether a product works for them, or delay purchases because ordering and waiting feels tedious. The lack of real-time accessibility prevents supplements from integrating seamlessly into daily routines.

Consistency Struggles

Even motivated users frequently abandon supplement routines. Without visible progress, reminders, or feedback loops, supplements feel optional rather than essential. This gap between intention and habit leads to irregular usage, wasted products, and missed results; ultimately weakening trust in supplements altogether.

Problem statement

Despite growing awareness of wellness and access to health data through wearables and apps, performance supplement users are stuck with generic, static products that fail to reflect their evolving goals, body needs, and routines.

Insights to opportunities

Users want flexible supplements that evolve with their fitness goals.
